Raspberry Red Candle Colour 10 g
Raspberry red color is suitable for colouring soy wax, paraffin, or gel candles. The samples in the photos are made of soy wax, the shades remain more intense in paraffin and gel candles.
The package contains 10 grams of candle color granules, which is enough to color 2-5 kg of wax, depending on the desired intensity level.
Small granules allow easy dosing and mixing of colors. For sample candles, 7 granules per 100 g of wax have been used. There are about 50 granules in one gram.
Melt the wax pellets in a smaller amount of wax. This makes it easy to see that the paint has dissolved properly. Add the color mixture to the remaining wax and mix well.
To test the intensity of the candle color, drop a small amount of colored candle wax onto white paper and let it solidify. The colors are very intense in the melted wax, but when the wax hardens and becomes opaque, the tone becomes lighter. This way you can check that the color meets your wishes.
If you want to make multi-colored (striped) candles, the candle wax must be allowed to solidify before pouring the next layer. The solidification time depends on the temperature of the wax, the thickness of the layer, and the type of wax. The ideal time to apply a new layer is when the bottom layer is already hard but still warm. The lower wax pouring temperature ensures that the hot wax does not melt the bottom layer and the wax will shrink less when it solidifies.
