Recommended dosage in masks and face or body scrubs 0.5-5% (0.5-5 g per 100 g of product), as a colorant in soap 0.2-1% (2-10 g per 1 kg of soap) In the example photo, on the left is a soap made from white soap base and on the right, soap made from transparent soap base. The tone remains deep black in the transparent soap base, but the charcoal powder turns the soap opaque.
Charcoal powder is manufactured from coconut shells.
