Sweet Orange Essential Oil 5-fold
Unit price: €18.67 / 100 ml
Sweet Orange Essential Oil 5-fold is a concentrated orange essential oil for cosmetic use.
The oil is obtained from orange peels by steam distillation. While regular sweet orange essential oil is classified as a top note, the concentrated essential oil is considered to be a middle note.
Compared to regular sweet orange essential oil, concentrated orange oil has a more intense smell that is more persistent. The essential oil is orange in color. At higher concentrations, the color of the oil can also affect the color of the finished product. The oil has a sweet citrus aroma reminiscent of a fresh orange, but much more concentrated.
It is suitable for fragrance blends with other citrus scents, floral scents, peppermint, and spicy, woody essential oils.
INCI: Citrus Sinensis (citral, limonene, linalool)
Description
Recommendations for using orange essential oil
Essential oil is added to the hand warmer product as late as possible in preparation. This reduces the volatility of essential oils. Be sure to store products containing orange essential oil in an airtight container.
Use essential oil 1-2% of the mass in the soap mass, 2-4% of the weight of the soap fats when making soap with self-made soapstone, i.e. approx. 1.5-2% of the total weight of the mass.
When making cosmetics, add essential oil up to 1% of the weight of the product (1 g per 100 g). For facial products, the amount should be kept even lower, below 0.5%. In order to avoid irritation, we recommend excluding all fragrances from the products around the eyes.
When adding essential oil to candles, follow the wax manufacturer's recommendations, they can vary widely. In NatureWax C3 soy wax, a dosage of up to 6% by weight is recommended.
Do not use undiluted on the skin. To ensure product safety, do not exceed the maximum dosage permitted by IFRA.
