

Juniper essential oil has a fresh, woody and resinous aroma and is yellow-green in color. With antiseptic and antimicrobial properties, juniper berry oil is used in various types of cleaning products and anti-inflammatory cosmetics. Juniper essential oil blends well with eucalyptus, cedar, mandarin orange and pine essential oils.
Cautions: This essential oil is not recommended for use by pregnant women and small children, and those with liver and kidney problems.
INCI: Juniperus Communis Oil (limonene, linalool)
In cosmetics, a dosage of up to 1% of the product's weight (1 g per 100 g) is recommended. For facial products, the amount should be kept even lower, below 0.5%. In order to avoid irritation, exclude fragrances from eye products. The maximum dosage recommended by the manufacturer in cosmetics is 2%. Also suitable for use in lip products.
In melt and pour soap making, use up to 20 g per 1 kg of soap base.
In the cold process soap add 30-35 g of essential oil per 1 kg of soap oils. For the hot process soap, use 20-25 g of essential oil per 1 kg of soap oils.
Candles made of soy wax should have a maximum dosage of 6%.
