Description
Aromatherapy grade eucalyptus essential oil
Organic eucalyptus essential oil is botanically and biochemically defined and meets the international EOBBD standard. This quality standard requires the monitoring of each batch of oil, botanical description, determination of organoleptic properties, monitoring of the extraction method and thorough physicochemical analyses. EOBBD requirements guarantee the quality and therapeutic properties of the essential oil.
The raw material of eucalyptus essential oil comes from organic farming. The product is certified according to the Ecocert / Cosmos standard.
Our recommendations for using essential oil
Essential oil is added to cosmetic products during the cooldown phase (at about 35-40 C), in order to reduce evaporation.
In melt and pour soap base, a suitable amount of essential oil to use is 1-2% of the soap weight, in cold-process soap, 2-4% of the weight of soap oils, approx. 1.5 -2% of the total weight of the soap.
In cosmetic products add essential oil up to 1% of the product weight (1 g per 100 g). For cosmetic products used on the face, the amount should be kept below 0.5%. In order to avoid irritation, all fragrances must be excluded from eye products. If you want to increase the amounts, do not exceed maximum IFRA levels available below.
When adding essential oil to candles, follow manufacturers' recommendations. For NatureWax C3 soy wax, the recommended dosage is up to 6% by weight, in paraffin candles 4% by weight.
Safety
If you are expecting a child, suffer from epilepsy, have cancer or any other serious illness, consult a specialist before using essential oils. Care should also be taken when using essential oils on infants and young children.
Storage: in a cool and dry place, protected from light.
