Rosemary extract 30 ml

Usage:

• as an antioxidant in oils: 0.05-0.1% for saturated fats (more oxidation-resistant oils and butter) and 0.2-0.4% for polyunsaturated fatty acids (oxidation-sensitive oils)
• Recommended dosage in creams and oil-based products containing water and oil - 0.3%
• As an anti-inflammatory, skin renewing and antioxidant ingredient in problem skin care preparations and anti-aging products, the recommended dosage is 0.1-0.3%
• The extract does not affect the pH of the product.

Rosemary extract is produced using CO₂ extraction.  The method ensures maximum purity of the extract, does not change or damage the plant compounds. During CO₂ extraction, substances sensitive to higher temperatures remain undamaged, and the lack of oxygen preserves compounds with oxidative potential. CO₂ extraction extends the shelf life of the product compared to oils obtained by pressing, soaking or distillation.

Active substances and other components naturally included in the composition: 13-15% phenol diterpenes, of which >9% carnosic acid; < 2% essential oil containing: < 0.1% limonene, < 0.05% linalool, < 20 ppm methyl eugenol. The extract is in organic sunflower oil.

The product is viscous and cloudy at room temperature, with a characteristic odor and a yellowish-brown color. At low temperatures, the extract can solidify, if necessary, it must be heated before use.

Rosemary extract does not replace the preservative in creams and other products containing water, because it does not have the properties to inhibit the growth of fungi and bacteria. Suitable preservatives for products containing water are Sharomix 705 and Cosgard.
