Hyaluronic acid with a high molecular weight (HMW) moisturizes the skin for a long time. It has skin-renewing and smoothing properties. The active substance forms a protective but breathable layer on the surface of the skin. Due to these properties, hyaluronic acid gives damaged and rough skin a more even surface. The protective layer reduces the effects of the external environment and ensures long-term hydration.
The active substance of plant origin is produced by fermentation.
The white powdery substance contains at least 95% hyaluronic acid and up to 5% protein.
Hyaluronic acid is water soluble. When mixed with water, the liquid becomes more viscous. In emulsions, this property provides greater stability.
The recommended dosage is 0.1-1%.
Molecular weight is 1.0 - 1.6 mDa
