Using fragrance oil
For cold process soap, use 30g of fragrance oil for every kilogram of oils in soap recipe. For hot process soap, use 15-20g of fragrance oil for every kilogram of oils in your recipe.
For melt and pour soaps, use 10g of fragrance for every kilogram of melt and pour soap base.
Use up to 1 g of fragrance oil per 100 g of product. Suitable for use in creams, lotions, liquid soaps, shampoos. Not suitable for use in lip products and eye products.
When using candle wax, follow the wax manufacturer's recommendations for the dosage of aroma oils. REcommended dosage is 4-10%

The IFRA standards are a set of rules for the safe use of fragrance oils and essential oils. The IFRA Maximum Usage Allowance is the maximum amount of fragrance oil or essential oil that a certain type of product can contain. This is not a recommendation as to how much to use for best results. General guidelines tfor fragrance usein cosmetics and soap can be found above. However, if you change amounts, do not exceed the amount of fragrance allowed in the IFRA standards.
