Lime essential oil is antiseptic, refreshing, and stimulating. The scent is fresh, sweet, and citrusy. Lime essential oil blends well with citronella, ginger, lavender, sage, and ylang-ylang.
Cautions: This essential oil has a photosensitizing effect, therefore should not be exposed to intense sunlight after application. May irritate sensitive skin.

Description
How to use
In cosmetics a dosage of up to 1% of the product's weight (1 g per 100 g) is recommended. For cosmetic products used on the face, the amount should be kept even lower, below 0.5%. Products around the eyes should exclude all fragrances to avoid irritation. The essential oil can be used in lip products.
In melt and pour soap base, we recommend to use up to 20 g per 1 kg of base. In cold process soap, add 30-35 g of essential oil per 1 kg of oils. For the hot process soap, use 20-25 g of essential oil per 1 kg of oils.
Candles made of soy wax have a maximum dosage of 6%.
