Soap Making Starter Set

The soap making starter kit includes the basic components for making soap:

• 1 kg of goat milk soap base
• 1 kg of transparent soap mass
• liquid soap dyes for soap making: red, blue, yellow and green
• One eight-hole silicone reusable soap mold for making soaps.
• We also include a simple step-by-step guide in Estonian to making soap!

In addition, we recommend adding 1-2 aroma oils or essential oils of your choice.

You will need a melting bowl, a spoon for mixing, and cling film for airtight packaging of the finished soaps.

Soaps made from transparent soap mass remain brightly colored and transparent. Colored soaps made from goat's milk soap mass remain pastel shades, because the color of the soap mass itself is white. Goat's milk soap mass is opaque. Soap masses are made on the basis of vegetable fats, goat's milk soap mass also contains real goat's milk. The half-package of soap must be properly closed between uses. In an airtight container, the product will last for up to three years without losing its properties.

3D Round Silicone Soap Mold

Silicone soap molds produce beautiful, rounded-edged soaps. The finished soap has a diameter of 6.5 cm and a thickness of 2.8 cm. One soap weighs approximately 90-95 grams. You can make eight soaps at once with one mold. To make a mold full of soaps, melt 750-800 g of soap at a time. The soaps take 1-2 hours to set.

The flexible silicone makes it very easy to remove the soap from the mold. You can wash it in the dishwasher if you wish.

Liquid soap colors

The set includes four soap colors in a glass bottle with a dropper. These are artificially made water-soluble colors. If desired, you can mix the colors together - yellow and red to get orange or blue and red to get purple. The colors remain more intense in the transparent soap mass and more pastel in the soap mass with goat's milk.

Scenting soap

The soap mass has a neutral scent. We recommend purchasing 1-2 additional scents to scent the soap. Since the selection of scents is so wide and preferences vary, we did not include scent in the starter kit.

When using aromatic oils, we recommend adding up to 20 drops of aromatic oil/1 g per 100 grams of soap to the soap mass. With this amount, 20 ml of aromatic oil is needed to make 2 kg of soap.

For essential oils , the maximum amount is up to 2 g per 100 g of soap, and up to 40 ml of essential oil can be used to scent 2 kg of soap. When choosing scents, also pay attention to the additional information about use provided in the product instructions. Some essential oils have usage restrictions and their amount in soap must be lower than mentioned above.
