Transparent Soap Base Low Sweat 1 kg
This transparent low sweat soap base recipe has been formulated so that the soap retains its original beautiful appearance for as long as possible, even without airtight packaging. The soap base attracts less moisture in a humid environment and does not "sweat". This is necessary when using soap base decorations on cold process soap. The soap base is SLS-free and contains a vanilla stabilizer. which reduces the browning effect of vanillin.
Description
Making soap from a soap base
- Cut the soap base into smaller cubes.
- Melt the cubes in a water bath or microwave. Make sure that the soap base melts evenly and does not exceed 70°C. Heating the base to more than 70°C may cause the soap to dehydrate, reduce lather, and turn yellow.
- In the melted soap, mix in the additives: essential oil or fragrance oil, mica, or soap dye.
- Pour the soap into the mold. The soap must harden at room temperature. In the refrigerator, the surface of the soap may become wrinkled as a result of rapid shrinkage.
- Remove hardened soaps from the mold. The soaps are now ready to use! If you do not use soaps immediately, pack them airtight. This prevents water from evaporating and fragrance from escaping.
The soap base is packed in 1 kg HDPE bags. Full box contains 12x1 kg of soap. Store the soap base in an airtight, protected from heat and direct sunlight. If you do not use all the soap at once, close the package carefully!
