Iridescent gold glitter mica has the most effective sparkle of the glitters. Its particles are three times larger than other glitters, up to 700 microns. The color of the product changes according to the angle from white to golden. Glitter mica gives products an impressive sparkle. It is similar to ultrafine glitter but does not contain plastic. The main component of glitter mica is synthetic mica, also known as fluorphlogopite, which is man-made by heating from inorganicminerals. Compared to natural mica, synthetic mica is purer, has larger particles, and a more impressive sparkle. Natural oxides are used for coloring.
Only raw materials found in nature are used to manufacture glitter mica, so it is not harmful to the environment.
The sparkle of glitter mica comes out best in transparent products, such as oils, gels, and transparent soap. It is also effective for decorating the surface of products and leaves a beautiful sparkle on the skin. Glitter mica is non-combustible, but when used in candles, it can clog the wick, so it is better suited for giving sparkle to aromatic waxes, for example.
Solvent-resistant glitter mica is also suitable for use in nail polishes.
