Description
In cosmetics, we recommend using fragrance oil up to 1% of the weight of the product. Fragrance oil is suitable for use in creams, lotions, liquid soap, and shampoo. This fragrance oil is not suitable for use in lip products and products around the eyes. In facial products, we recommend that you always keep the amount of fragrance oil below 0.5%. Fragrance oil is added to the product in the cool-down phase. Mix the scent into the product when it's about lukewarm. Make sure that the fragrance is well-mixed.
In the melt-and-pour soap base, we recommend using up to 10 g per 1 kg of soap base. Mix the fragrance into the melted soap base before pouring it into the mold.
When making cold-process soap we recommend using 30 g fragrance oil per 1 kg of fats, with a hot process method 15-20 g per 1 kg of fats. Fragrance oil is added to the soap last, before pouring it into the mold. This fragrance oil can not change the color of soap to pink. It can also speed up the saponification process in cold-process soap. If this is a problem, reduce the temperature of the soap to 30 degrees when mixing and, if necessary, slightly increase the amount of water in the recipe. With the hot process method, there are no problems with the acceleration in saponification.
Making candles - use up to 6% of the weight of soy wax.
