Lavender 40/42 essential oil is made from different varieties of lavender. Its composition contains 40% linalool and 42% linalyl acetate, which are the main phytochemicals found in lavender. Different types of lavender are used in the production of essential oil to ensure a stable composition with a standard fragrance profile. Due to its persistent scent, this oil finds wide application in soaps, candles and cosmetics.
