When making cold-process soap we recommend using 30 g fragrance oil per 1 kg of fats, with a hot process method 15-20 g per 1 kg of fats. Fragrance oil is added to the soap last, before pouring it into the mold Lily of the Valley fragrance oil does not change the color of soap when making it, but it can speed up the saponification process in cold-process soap. If this is a problem, reduce the temperature of the soap to 30 degrees when mixing and, if necessary, slightly increase the amount of water in the recipe. With the hot process method, there are no problems with the acceleration in saponification.
