Fragrance Notes

This essential oil belongs to the category of middle or heart notes. It is an essential oil of medium volatility. In the blend of essential oils, the heart notes help to bind the top and base notes into a harmonious combination. They reduce the sharpness of intense smells and make the scent milder.

Use in cosmetics

We recommend using up to 1% by weight of the product (1 g per 100 g), in facial care products less than 0.5%. Do not use around the eyes! Add essential oil during the cooling phase (at about 35-40 C).

The IFRA Maximum Usage Allowance is the maximum amount of fragrance oil or essential oil that a certain type of product can contain. This is not a recommendation as to how much to use for best results. General guidelines tfor fragrance usein cosmetics and soap can be found above. However, if you change amounts, do not exceed the amount of fragrance allowed in the IFRA standards.
