Body butter with babassu oil and shea butter (100 g)

Use to moisturize skin after taking a sauna or shower. Body butter is most effective when used on moist skin! The companions of shea butter in this recipe are babassu oil and avocado oil. Babassu oil makes the cream melt faster and glides better. Avocado oil makes the cream soft and nourishing. It is rather a slower absorbing butter!

60 g shea butter

20 g babassu oil

20 g avocado oil

1 g vitamin E.

1 g essential oil (for example sweet orange or grapefruit)

Heat the babassu oil and shea butter in a water bath until soft. Add avocado oil. Mix with a whisk until smooth. When mixture has cooled below 40 degrees, addVitamin E and fragrance. Spoon into jars.

Shea Butter Lip Balm (50 g)

20 shea butter

25 g sweet almond oil

8 g of beeswax

Heat the almond oil and beeswax until the beeswax has melted. Add shea butter and mix, the mixture should be melted and clear. Heat a little more if necessary. Pour into small jars. We recommend quick cooling of the balm in the refrigerator. This reduces the risk of shea butter becoming grainy.

Lipstick with shea butter and candelilla wax approx. 50 g

16 g sweet almond oil

11 g castor oil

11 g shea butter

12 g candelilla wax

0.5-0.7 g mica if desired.

lipstick tubes

The amount is enough to make 10-12 lipsticks.

This is a harder mix that is suitable for pouring into lipstick tubes.

Heat the components in a water bath until melted. Stir in the mica. Fill the tubes and refrigerate to solidify.

Nourishing cream for aging skin

35 g shea butter

25 g mango butter

40 g avocado oil, wheat germ oil or jojoba oil

3 g vegetably glycerine

1 g vitamin E.

Melt shea butter and mango butter. Put into the fridge until the mixture solidifies and becomes opaque. Whisk in liquid oil and then add glycerine and vitamin E. Vegetable glycerin is not fat soluble and therefore the mixture remains stable only with a small amount of glycerin. As the proportion increases, it may seep out of the mixture!

Massage bar with shea butter (approx. 100 g)

40 g shea butter

30 g beeswax

30 g sweet almond oil

1 g essential oil or fragrance

Heat the fats and oils in a water bath until the components melt. Allow to cool until the mixture is lukewarm. Add the essential oil and mix well. Pour into the silicone mold to solidify.

To massage, slide the massage bar on the skin, the mixture melts under the influence of body heat.

Body butter with wheat germ oil and lanolin

60 g shea butter

7 g lanolin

30 g wheat germ oil

3 g vegetable glycerine

1 g vitamin E

1 g allergen-free fragrance oil

Heat the shea butter and lanolin in a water bath until melted. Let cool slightly. When the mixture is lukewarm, add wheat germ oil. Finally, mix in the vegetable glycerin and vitamin E drop by drop.

This ointment helps to increase the elasticity of the skin and is suitable for the prevention of stretch marks during pregnancy.

 NB! Especially in the beginning of pregnancy you should be very careful when using essential oils, experts recommend to avoid essential oils in the first trimester.

Diaper rash cream with zinc oxide 100 ml

40 g shea butter

10 g zinc oxide

50 ml calendula oil

1 ml bisabolol

1 g vitamin E

Heat the shea butter and zinc oxide in a water bath until the shea butter melts. Stir until smooth. Add calendula oil and bisabolol.

Bisabolol itself has a delicate floral scent, but you can add 1 ml of natural aroma oil Milk and honey (allergen-free) to add scent.

Moisturizing hand cream 100 g

10 g shea butter

5 g Olliva or Olivem 1000 emulsifier

2 g panthenol

30 g melissa water or chamomille water

50 g boiled or distilled water

3 g vegetable glycerin

1 g preservative

1 g fragrance oil or essential oil (optional)

Heat the shea butter and emulsifier until melted. In another bowl, heat water and flower water. When mixed, both mixtures should be about 70 degrees. Mix the cream with a hand mixer until it is lukewarm, then carefully mix in panthenol, glycerin, preservative and fragrance. The scent of the cream is also affected by the flower water used.The cream reaches its final consistency after 24 hours.
