Peppermint foot scrub
The salt foot scrub is very intensive and is suitable for the care of skin thickening on the feet, elbows and heels. For more intensive exfoliation, ground pumice stone is also added. Since salt has a drying effect on the skin, it is not recommended to use it more than once a week.
Peppermint essential oil is used as a fragrance, it has a refreshing and deodorizing effect.
You need:
150 g pink Himalayan salt (you can find it in any major store)
75 g oil, such as avocado oil, sweet almond oil, wheat germ oil
1 tbsp ground pumice stone
20 drops of peppermint essential oil
100 ml jar
Preparation
To make the scrub, weigh the salt and oil into a mixing bowl. Since the salt grains are of very different sizes, the composition and intensity of the scrub can vary greatly. If necessary, increase the amount of oil. Finally, add peppermint essential oil drop by drop, mixing well to distribute the scent more evenly.
Using a foot scrub
When using a foot scrub, the result is most effective if you bathe your feet in warm water for 10-15 minutes before scrubbing, and apply foot cream afterward.
To exfoliate, rub salt mix in circular motions on problem areas. Rinse off the remains of the scrub with lukewarm water.
