Hair conditioner with herbal emulsifier
Hair conditioner makes hair smoother and easier to comb. Coco-Silicone is a light, fast-absorbing plant-based alternative made from coconut oil for the production of less oily cosmetic products. It is used in various hair care products, providing shine and a smooth surface to the hair, but without leaving the hair as greasy as regular oil. Panthenol or provitamin B5 gives hair a beautiful shine in hair care products. Cetearyl alcohol softens and cares for the hair, making it easier to comb. The lecithin in the composition of the plant emulsifier restores the hair's protective barrier, improves their softness and shine, and reduces frizziness. Since the product contains water, it is necessary to add a preservative, which helps to extend the product's shelf life by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and fungi.
To prepare 100 g of conditioner, you will need:
80 g water
8 g vegetable emulsifier
10 g Coco-Silicone
2 g panthenol
1 g fragrance oil or essential oil
0.8 g preservative
Preparation time: approximately 1 hour
Difficulty: medium. Accurate weighing of ingredients is required.
Heat the water and emulsifier in a water bath until emulsifier is melted. Add the Coco-Silicone. Stir with a stick blender until emulsified.
Continue blending occasionally until the mixture is lukewarm.
Then gradually add the preservative and, if desired, fragrance oil or essential oil while stirring.
Package the conditioner in a jar. The mixture will continue to thicken and will reach its final consistency the next day.
Usage: Apply to shampoo-washed, damp hair. Let it act for a few minutes, then rinse.
Storage: Keep away from heat and direct sunlight. The product lasts at least 3 months.
